The foundation of a good seating position
Hold the hips neutral and the trunk and legs above them follow. This is the harness occupational therapists and physiotherapists fit first, before adding any chest or leg positioning — the classic side release buckle, quick to open with one hand and familiar to every carer.
- Corrects posterior pelvic tilt (sacral sitting and sliding forward)
- Side release buckle — fast, one-handed transfers
- Two-point mounting with two padded sides
- Available from XXS to XL, for small children through to adults
Choose single or double adjustable
Both versions do the same job; the difference is how tension is set.
- Single adjustable — one strap tightens the whole harness. Simpler for daily use and the right choice for a symmetrical position. Sizes XS–XL
- Double adjustable — each side tightens independently, so more tension can be applied where it’s needed. Choose this for pelvic obliquity or any asymmetric deviation. Sizes XS–XL
Not sure which? If the user sits square, single is enough. If one side drops or the position pulls consistently to one side, go double.
Build and fitting
- Covered buckles, rounded webbings, trim strip
- Reinforced materials at high-load points
- Water- and dirt-repellent, wipes clean easily
- CE-certified · Clear size indication
- Angle and fit set by an occupational therapist or physiotherapist
- Should pull down and back across the hips, never up over the abdomen
- Positioning aid, not a vehicle restraint — use an approved occupant restraint for transport
