Neoprene Multi-Purpose Band

One soft, stretchable band that can be moved around the body as needed — torso, thighs or lower legs. The elastic neoprene supports posture without restricting breathing or natural movement, which makes it a good first trial before committing to a harness.

  • Trunk stability, legs falling outward, feet leaving the footrest — one band
  • Stretchable neoprene: support, not restraint
  • Hook-and-loop closure, water-repellent, easy to clean
  • CE-marked · Sizes S, M, L

One band, many positioning problems

The Neoprene Multi-Purpose Band is a soft, stretchable band that can be moved around the body depending on what the user needs. Around the torso it gives light trunk stability, around the thighs it keeps legs from falling outward, and around the lower legs it keeps feet on the footrest. That makes it a practical first trial for occupational therapists and physiotherapists before committing to a permanent harness or belt.

  • Used on torso, abdomen, upper legs or lower legs
  • Helps with trunk instability, legs falling outward and feet leaving the footrest
  • Works in wheelchairs, standard chairs, standing frames and in bed
  • Available in sizes S, M and L with clear size indication

Support without restriction

The elastic neoprene is the point. It stretches with the ribcage and abdomen so breathing stays free, and it allows the small weight shifts that matter for comfort and pressure relief. Where a rigid strap holds a position, this band gives a gentle proprioceptive cue about where the body should be — support rather than restraint.

  • Stretchable neoprene follows respiration and natural movement
  • Hook-and-loop closure — one-handed to fit, stepless adjustment
  • Water-repellent and easy to wipe clean between users
  • CE-marked medical device

Fitting and advice

The band is a positioning aid, not a safety restraint, and shouldn’t replace a hip belt or harness where securing is required. Initial fitting should be assessed by an occupational therapist or physiotherapist, with skin and circulation checked during the first period of use. Once fitted, parents, carers and school staff can apply it easily.

  • Assessment and fitting by a qualified therapist recommended
  • Simple enough for daily use by carers and school staff
