Our daughter has a multiple disabled son Marco, now 8 years old. He is unable to stand / walk / talk and has seizures on a regular basis. Because we as grandparents like to take care of him, he regularly comes to stay with us. We have facilities for this that make this possible. Besides the fact that we like to take care of Marco, it also relieves our daughter, her husband and Esther (Marco’s younger sister).

We went looking for a new, easily adjustable chair for Marco. We found a Special Tomato MPS. It is a sturdy / safe and easy to clean chair. Because we do not receive compensation for the facilities, it also had to be affordable. With these criteria, we visited the Veine fair in Gorinchem in February 2020. Wereva stood there with a stand that has a Tomato MPS chair in their range.

This chair actually consists of 4 elements: a frame that is adjustable in height, a very sturdy basic chair, a set of 3 cushions and a harness. The set of cushions consists of a seat, a backrest and a headrest. All elements are very easy to clean. The cushions have a certain size and can be replaced by a larger size so that the chair “grows” with Marco (a matter of buying other cushions). The frame and the base chair are gray, the cushions are available in various colors. After an extensive explanation and explanation in a pleasant conversation, we received a quote after which we decided to purchase the chair. We have also purchased the optional worksheet (convenient and easy to install / remove).

The chair is great for the following reasons:
• Marco has sufficient support and can still move freely;
• During an epileptic seizure, he remains in good position and the chair absorbs his seizure, a condition;
• The chair is very firmly on 4 swivel castors to be blocked;
• The chair is very easy to adjust with unlimited possibilities;
• Once adjusted, the cushions are very well secured on the basic chair;
• The chair can tilt completely, useful if Marco falls asleep;
• The ability to “enlarge” the chair only by purchasing a new set of cushions.
From our experience you can conclude that we are extremely satisfied with the Tomato MPS chair. We also received good support from the supplier during the purchase and delivery, which is also important.
